I disagree - definitely humans destroyed Western Civ. Too often ppl see white people and Euro civ as intrinsically evil and vulgar. There is certainly that - but there is that in every civ. The irony of the vulgarity of civ. There is good in our civ and culture - a past of matriarchy for instance... laura
