BBC NEWS | Entertainment | Tom Jones' enduring popularity

When you think about dramatic moments in audio, there are two that clearly rise above all others - the Hindenberg disaster, of course, and the beginning of the Tom Jones album Live at Caesar's Palace, when a subtle horn introduction plays, and the the announcer says:

"Ladies and Gentlemen: This....is Tom Jones!"

and everyone goes nuts. Tom Jones is the man.

How Bourgeois would like to extend our warm congratulations to Tom Jones, on the occasion of his knighthood.
