  • Japan Town-Kinokoyama, Iroha for noodles and croquette
  • North Beach- Coffee and the gnocchi king-Molinari's for picnic lunch @ Stinson, Proust
  • The Presidio-take a walk, visit old shrink, The Presido YMCA
  • China Town
  • The Haight-Amoeba Records, costume jewelry, Cha-cha-cha
  • Union Street-that place, the Italian coffee shop- the unsweetened mocha
  • Cole Valley-Zazie
  • Noe Valley-Le Zinc, on the patio. cheese, wine. Firefly
  • West Portal-The Old Krakow, the Peruvian place, the toy store
  • 9th and Irving- Park Chow. Goodbye Canvas. Naan and Curry, Wish Bone, the guy with the pet squirrel
  • 19th and Irving-the old hood. Marnee Thai, Yum Yum Fish, Kosher, vegan Chinese, Alvin's Coffee, Sheng kee Bakery

That's quite the list. Sounds like an adventure. How long will you be in California? I really wish I could fit into your carry on! Be sure to wave as you, most likely, fly over Colorado.

Funny how I have a list like this for Detroit. And I guess to an Ohian, it would appear that I was speaking Japanese as well. Maybe I'll blog about it.
