Now that my friend Robb is back in Japan for the summer, I have started following Japanese baseball so I can discuss something relevent to his current situation beyond Harmonized Tariff Codes and which consumer electronics trade programs our companies should participate in. I started following the Yokohama Baystars, and oddly it is no less heartbreaking for me when the (hated) Hanshin Tigers drop them 6-2 like they did yesterday than it is when the Mudhens go down to the (hated) Columbus Clippers or (ugh) Scranton.
Today we lost to the Chunichi Dragons 9-7, but we'll get 'em tomorrow (18:00 on TVK).
