I'm always seeing rabbits in the neighborhood, specifically running from my tomato patch to the bushes whenever I come outside, and apparently I'm not the only one who noticed. There are lots of hawks in Southeast Michigan, but I have never seen one quite this residential. I don't think this is habitat encroachment (my house is almost 60 years old), I think this guy smells an opportunity.

Hey, I think he's up there from my 'hood, escaping the heat! We have quite a few hawks around here, even in town, and it has been a BIG LESSON for the boys as they always manage to have something in their mouths (ew!).
