We still need you, we still feed you, now you're SIXTY-FOUR

Oh gosh, I'm so strange, but when I read the news this afternoon and saw that Sir Paul McCartney turns 64 today, I kind of got emotional. Wow with a sigh is how I feel and don't even know why. It's nice though, he's made it to 64. I wish I could say the same for John and George. For those of you who didn't know, I have been, since middle school, a die hard Beatles fan. I'm especially a Lennon fan, I admire his weird creativity.
It's very sad that Paul is going through a public divorce right now, and even more sad that Linda, his wife of 29 years passed away in 1999. He has five children and three grandchild though (not Vera, Chuck and Dave), so I'm hoping he's surrounded by them today.
It's funny that Paul doesn't fit the description of the retired, ederly person who gardens and takes drives and is going bald in the song. I guess though, at sixteen when Paul wrote this song, 64 would seem pretty ancient. I think he's still a pretty young guy!
Happy Birthday Sir Paul!
