Chimichurri
We can't seem to stay out of Cafe Habana. It was our fallback choice on Friday night after we found out there was a 40-minute wait at Bastone next door. This is a charred steak, sliced, with chimichurri sauce, rice and spinach with garlic, and it's always been fantastic. So good, in fact, that I have always overlooked the fact that Cafe Habana seems to have a couple of issues with their dishwasher. I guess if you want clean plates you can pay twice as much next door, or you can get good food cheap here. If you don't mind the garlic aftertaste for a solid two days this is the way to go.
By the way, Lauren has a funny story about a couple we ran into there, but it will be better when she tells it.
