This morning, as on many mornings over the last couple of weeks, Noah woke up happy and playing instead of crying. If you have not experienced this marvelous transition for yourselves, it is tough for me to get across how it changes your entire day.
The closest analogy I can think of is that this is the difference between being awakened by raccoons throwing metal garbage cans against the wall outside your window, or by a lovely woman playing the harp and baking muffins next to your bed, so you wake up to muffin-scented harp music. When he's happy, it's all muffin-scented harp music.

Oh I remember when my kids started waking up happy! Beautiful, isn't it?
Glad Noah is deciding to give you a slight break. :)

My favorite part of the morning is listening to Tyler "talk" to his animal friends in his bed. About 3-4 minutes into it, I start hearing, "uh oh! uh oh!" and then "maaaaamaaaaaa!" (sweetly of course). I walk in to a room with Tyler in the crib and every last little thing that was in there with him on the floor.
