What a week it has been! I'm exhausted and it's not even Friday.I've been going around telling people that next week is called "Lauren's Week Off". Next week won't be a week off per se, but rather a week without commitment. The past 7 days have been very fun and very full. Bubby and Zayde Stein came up for a visit to see Noah...oh and Jon and I of course. It was a nice day spent inside as Jon and Noah were sick with colds. Actually, this was the first time Noah has ever been sick! He's ok now though.
Monday Noah was really not feeling well, so I spent the day at home with the poor guy. Tuesday we met with Bubby Dora at Caribou! She's the best. Sarah and Joshua also joined us and later Jon and Nate came for a coffee. Wednesday Noah and I had so much fun with Kendra, Meredith and Kelsey. We met at the mall to play at the children's play area. I can't believe how quickly Noah has learned to walk and basically run! Really, after just about a week of walking he's off like a pro! After lots of running around we went to lunch and for a stroll. It was great to see them and next time we'll get to meet Kendra's husband Scott and hear Kendra and her choir! That should be wonderful! Today Noah and I met up with Asa and Anzu as we had to cancel plans Monday due to the cold. We met at Karma, a neat little tea place in Ferndale. I felt so bad that Noah was running all over the place like a maniac while we tried to talk. Asa said not to apologize, she understands he's a toddler. That made me feel better. This evening we took Noah to our local Mall, we let him run. He walked all over the mall for an hour and no pun intended, he's sleeping like a baby right now. Tomorrow we have Mom and Tot class, that will be fun.
So, for next week, "Lauren's Week Off" I'm not going to commit to any plans. I'm going to get everthing done that I've been wanting to get done for a while...clean the house top to bottom, grocery shop for a week's worth of meals, get Noah some clothes that actually fit, try to go to my fitness club, work on some long overdue thank-you notes, celebrate our 2nd. anniversary...etc...etc..etc...
What a busy week that will be!

Bumbo seats - what did Noah think of it? I had thought of getting one for Tyler a while back, but really, now he'd just use it to stand in!
Love your pics!
Hi Judy! I'm actually commenting! WTF!? We were walking by a store that had this Bumbo in the window. I read about them last year, that they help floppy infants sit up and work as a booster. Well, as I got nearer, I realized Noah was too "Fluffy " for the Bumbo and rushed to stick him in it because now it is....a jail ! Yep, he was S-T-U-C-K in all that blue foam. A good thing to keep your kid still, huh? Needless to say, he got angry, VERY angry quickly and after we pealed that thing off his tushie, he was off like lightening!
Lauren:
Hopefully Merry and Kelsey did not contribute too much to your exhaustion this week. LOL
I know how you feel though...we've been going non-stop as well.
The girls are in a wedding tomorrow, so today will be a stay-at-home-as-much-as-possible day.
I love you and I posted some of the pics up on my site, too!
Love,
Kendra
