This should be interesting - here is a new blog called the Auto Prophet, written by a Big Three engineer. He promises lots of opinion on industry trends. If you live in Detroit or nearby, it does not matter what you do for a living - there is still nothing the auto industry does not influence. It is a continuing source of pride and frustration for us, and it is important to keep up. Even local businesses like foneGEAR, which exclusively manufactures wireless accessories, are often divisions of companies with significant automotive business. Hopefully this new voice has something good to say for us, as there has been a lot of pretty bleak news coming from the auto industry and the supplier community over the last several weeks. Honest assessments are needed.
