Garden Update: June 26, 2008

Things are growing. That's kind of it for the update; here's a pic of my Sweet 100s, my first tomato plant with a lot of noticeable fruit. The grape tomatoes and my other cherry plant have some tiny tomatoes now, and I have a red pepper that's starting to bud. Things are moving along.

Those look LOVELY!

Our garden is withering away - a drought will do that to plants...

The weather has been good here in Michigan for gardening, frequently rain followed by periods of frequent sun and temperatures that aren't too cold but not too hot either - our garden is growing like crazy. In the past 5 years where I've planted tomatoes, this is the first year I'm bringing in a huge harvest. We also have strawberries that have been producing like crazy. It's going to be a good summer.

My strawberries aren't doing anything - do they issue fruit the first season?

They should.

I grew mine from seed packets and they are doing fantastic for some odd reason.
