Super Why!

Noah dressed himself up as "Super Why" last night.

Noah's favorite television show is this great program on PBS Kids called "Super Why". I haven't heard anyone else talk about it, and I know some parents read this blog, so I though I'd just throw it out there. Super Why is an interactive show that engages children in practicing their early reading skills through fun stories and games. Four characters, Whyatt, Little Red Riding Hood, Princess Pea and Pig, turn into their alter egos; Super Why, Wonder Red, Princess Presto and Alpha Pig. "Super Readers to the rescue!" They call, as then gang goes to solve plot problems in their "super story adventures". Ok, is this too cheesy for you? It's cute though, seriously. Find Super Why and Noah's other favorite; Word World on PBS Kids, I think you'll like it.

kylinn *LOVES* super why! sarah made us watch it months ago and now we tivo it daily.

i saw the ww toys last week- they seemed a little goofy. like, if all of the letters come apart, wouldn't that make a terrible mess? what if you had all of the animals and then poof! a giant pile of velcro letters.

My 3-Year-Old loves Super Why, and I've never seen it. But one day she started saying she was Super Why and occasionally she'd exclaim "Super Readers to the Rescue!" I do believe this is preferable to "Swiper No Swiping!" Arrrggh!

Sarah and Meagan- that's funny, I've been sitting here this whole time thinking "I wonder if anyone else has seen "Super Why" and all along it's been Josh and Ky's favorites! :)

I think the stuffed toys are lame, but they do have some matching games and spelling flashcards that are cooler.
