The baby geese were cute, the finches were interesting, but the three hawks circling our building right now are amazing to watch. You wonder if we have encroached on their habitat, or if they are finding something appealing about this area. I'm guessing that the fact that the area is pretty wooded provides them with a lot to eat, but I had never really thought of hawks as particularly suburban.
