Does this post make me look stupid?

I was just re-reading my Gray post below, and maybe it's a dumb thing to write about.

Here in Central Texas, pink is the new black. AT least that is what the little pre-teen girls tell me at church.

I'm just going with the flow.

hey jonathan and lauren, i'm so sad the weather prevented us from seeing eachother last week.

i just read your gray post and then headed over to my coffee shop where i picked up today's issue of the portland mercury (our trashy hipster weekly tabloid) and read this in the fashion column (why they have a fashion column, i'm not sure.):

"The good news is that black is the new black—but slate grays were in almost equal preponderance. 2007's fall fashion, even more than usual, was a mostly monochromatic and very dark affair, painting the look of the zeitgeist as cold, almost sinister and severe. Color, when applied, was either of the darkest hue or stood out in contrasting, often primary brightness. But the grays prevailed, with the one most repetitive piece appearing across designers being the LGD (Little Gray Dress)."

I myself am a big fan of gray. I have my businessish casual gray pants from the old navy, my indespensible spiewak gray pruett jacket, and my absolute favorite heather gray worn-in t-shirt from the american apparel (a store i hate to love). tmi, right?

anyhow, i thought i'd let you know that i appreciate gray, and your post. i'm glad we're family and i hope to see you and meet noah sometime before he's all grown up.

This is good news for me since the only thing I wear generally happens to be black, but then I broke out and just bought myself a pair of slate-gray trousers.
Sometimes I amaze myself.

I just wanted you to know that I've discovered an American Idol-style voting scandal here. Nate just sat and pushed the Yes button for about 20 minutes until it showed you were 90% stupid. Wait, that doesn't sound right. You know what I mean.

Good thing no one reads this thing, or I would look quote foolish.
