Yam fries taste awesome, are healthy, and couldn't be easier. Slice up some sweet potatoes, coat in a little olive oil (or not if you're watching oil intake, but it tastes good and helps keep them from sticking), and throw them in a hot oven (425) for about 25 minutes, until they are soft inside and firm outside. They will color and might get black in spots, which I like, but you can remove them sooner or cook lower, longer if this happens.
Important: turn them once halfway through and make sure they are on a cookie sheet in a single layer. Hit them with a little salt right when they come out and dig in.

Are yam fries good? How did you prepare them?
