Last Friday I went to services at our temple with two nice Jewish boys, Jonathan and Noah. Our pediatrician happens to also be a member and was doing a speach on why he chose to become a mohel. For those of you who don't know what a mohel is, I can give you a hint. SNIP SNIP! Noah's bris was the most stressful day of my life!
Anyway, it was a nice evening. The service seemed to take forever! I had to walk Noah around for most of it, he was pretty unhappy sitting in the pews. I let him loose eventually and he crawled all over the lobby and into a giant hall. After the services an "Oneg" was held. This is just a little after service get together where there is fabulous punch, brownies, cookies and fruit served. We stayed a bit and waited for Noah to stop flirting with all of the ladies and then headed for home.
The brief nap during services put Noah is a pretty good mood so Jon and I thought this would be a great chance to ACTUALLY be out of our house past 7:00 on a Friday night! So, we went to downtown Birmingham for a walk with the stroller and some great slices of pizza from Goombah's. Noah was great and we all had a really good time.

Lauren, just one question, where is Goombah's? I thought I was familiar with B'ham but I can't picture the place. Their pizza looks wonderful!
