Detroit Event: Shuman Motor Show

Just received from the dealership where I got my Jeep:

Don't miss Shuman Chrysler Jeep's 16th Annual Classic Auto Show. It will take place on Saturday, August 6th, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Admission is free. There will be music, fun and a concession stand that will benefit the Walled Lake Rotary Club.

There will also be a contest for the best cars. The categories are Custom vehicles, orginal/restored vehicles, street rods and street machines. Anyone who attends can cast a vote for their favorite roadster. The awards ceremony will take place immediately following the Classic Auto Show.

All makes and models 1978 and older will be featured. If you are interested in registering your classic car, call Shuman Chrysler Jeep at 248-669-2010. Registration is free, and will begin at 8 a.m. on Saturday.
