Per Jon's request, I should elaborate on this photo and previous title. I thought it was self explainatory but...the reason why I love my husband so, is because he makes homemade treats for his grandmother's Birthday. What a sweetie! No pun intended...haha.

I think it looked better sideways. Note that the cake is red velvet - this is the first time I have made it (my Bubby turned 90), and it as a big hit. There is high wow factor in cutting open a white cake to reveal a shocking scarlet interior. Highly recommended.
