Garrett was driving in Royal Oak the other day and saw this:
It's a Citroen C3 Pluriel, and it is a hardtop coupe that can be converted to a panoramic roof, a full convertible, and (seriously) a convertible pick-up truck. A sort of French Le Chemin*, if you will.
For context, enjoy Hagelstein's bakery and the Royal Oak Police Department. Garrett's strictly a "ten and two" kind of guy, so I have no idea how he took this.
Note the roof seam. So the obvious question: which domestic manufacturer is doing convertible-pickup testing? I'm stumped by this one, but I'll buy the first correct answer a Pho.

Webasto. Branched out from sunroofs to a Targa roof for Porsche in the late 90s, has evolved for other car models...They have 3 locations in Metro Detroit.
